    Summary:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hotel's management team, you will be responsible for leading the front desk operation, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

    Description of Job Duties:

    The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front desk operation, including staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling. Key responsibilities include:

    • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support colleagues to ensure they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with Hyatt values.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and annual department-wide budgets and forecasts.


    • Guest Satisfaction:
    • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
    • Coach and train on the Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Foundational Standard Program.


    • Financial Operations:
    • Monitor all front office financial operations and ensure front office compliance with accounting controls and procedures.
    • Review correspondence from guests and incident logs and direct staff according to information obtained.


    Maintaining Operational Excellence:

    Ensure all operations and cash handling are done per policies and procedures. Oversee all vendor and personnel contracts throughout the hotel. Monitor occupancy of guest room space to ensure most efficient use and minimize overbooking.

    Communication and Collaboration:

    Maintain excellent communication with the housekeeping department. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel, and communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.

    Qualifications:

    •3-4 years work experience.
    •At least 2 years progressive management experience within the Rooms Division of a hotel.
    •Hotel/Hospitality degree preferred.
    •Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
    •Have Forbes Luxury Travel Guide Foundational Training and/or Exposure.
    •Experience with hotel operations software sales programs.
    •Skillful in project planning/tasks and able to prioritize projects/tasks.
    •Highly organized and efficient, pro-active and results driven, and ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility.
    •Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line.
