- Working with both contractors, government civilians, and system operators.
- Development of services and components that support data analysis of tactical systems
- Development of prototypes to support new and emerging capabilities
- Development of new or improved algorithms and simulations
- Data analysis of simulation and field data from tactical systems
- Must be able to acquire or possess (as well as maintain) a US Secret security clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen and a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the area.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering, science, or related technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in software development with object-oriented programming languages such as C++, Java, Python or C#
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the year.
- Be a team player in a small group working under the direction of a customer.
- Effective communication skills with various levels of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a team player.
- Willingness to exceed customer expectations.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office toolset (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Software engineering experience in support of DoD programs
- Experience with tactical command and control systems, weapon systems, or sensor systems software
- Experience with microservice architecture, especially in large systems is a plus
