    Threat Tec is seeking a highly qualified Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Threat Specialist (AT/FP) to join our team in support of the Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH), Directorate of Operations Program Support (DOPS)
    The AT/FP Specialist will play a critical role in monitoring the overall Antiterrorism posture to ensure adequate protection for all phases of planning, design, preparation, training, operations, and safety of personnel
    Responsibilities


    • Monitor the overall Anti-terrorism posture to ensure adequate protection for all phases of planning, design, preparation, training, operations, and safety of personnel.
    • Develop technological projections of threat organizations and threat systems employment for use in scenarios, models, and training in support of Force Protection.
    • Support the interpretation of the meaning and potential impact of collected intelligence and threat data.
    • Complete Antiterrorism Vulnerability Assessments (ATVA) and disseminate findings to affected entities within specified timelines.
    • Coordinate with the J2-CI (Counterintelligence) and provide data inputs for the threat working group to conduct analysis of threat information and recommend appropriate response measures.
    • Adhere to and comply with established Antiterrorism Standards and Regulations.
    • Plan, coordinate, support, execute, and/or brief at the GO level on any of the Antiterrorism Standards listed in relevant publications.
    • Demonstrate familiarity with Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP), Risk Assessment/Risk Response/Critical Asset Identification Process
    Maintain Level II AT/FP certification and complete required courses including


    • Conventional Physical Security/Crime Prevention Course.
    • DoD Security Engineering Planning and Standards.
    • Blast Resistant Structural Design.
    • VAPO Vulnerability Assessment Protection Option.
    • Entry Control Facilities / Access Control Points (ECF/ACP)
    Qualifications


    • 10 years of prior military experience, with experience working in a SOF headquarters required.
    • 3 years of experience in operations within the SOUTHCOM AOR.
    • Level II AT/FP certification required.
    • Graduate of Conventional Physical Security/Crime Prevention Course, DoD Security Engineering Planning and Standards, Blast Resistant Structural Design, VAPO Vulnerability Assessment Protection Option, and Entry Control Facilities / Access Control Points (ECF/ACP) courses.
    • Familiarity with Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP), Risk Assessment/Risk Response/Critical Asset Identification Process.
    • Possess a current Secret security clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI within 120 days of hire
