    Golang Developer or a Java Backend Developer willing to learn Golang.

    Strong Microservices

    They use GCP but any cloud is fine

    Strong SQL, knowledge of PostgresSQL would be a huge plus

    Experience with any NoSQL database

    Kubernetes

    Kafka

    Agile

    Should be able to coach and mentor other team members.

    Detailed Job Description

    Role: Sr. Software Engineer

    Location: Birmingham, AL

    Type: 6 months temp-hire

    Type: Hybrid ( 1-2 days per week onsite is must)

    No sponsorship. W2 only.

    What You'll Need to Be Successful

    · Must have Bachelors or master's in computer science or other related fields.

    · 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing Microservices.

    · 3+ years of Golang, Java or Python experience, with willingness to learn Golang.

    · You have experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL or similar databases.

    · Comfortable using Cloud technologies like Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

    · You are comfortable with testing tools like Rest Assured, Swagger etc.

    · You have experience with Agile tools and methodologies.
