The Challenge:

Security of Information Technology assets is a top priority for our armed forces in the current operating landscape. How about using your cybersecurity expertise to support these efforts?

The Department of Defense is enhancing its Intelligence Community (IC) Security Control Assessor (SCA) capabilities to meet growing needs for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls.

Joining our team as an SCA means you'll handle A&A, IV&V, and RMF tasks for the DoD Intelligence Authorizing Official (AO). Your responsibilities will include overseeing assessments on Sensitive Compartments Information (SCI) Systems, Intelligence Programs of Record (POR), applications, and non-SCI DoD intelligence systems.

You Have:

Active TS/SCI clearance
DoD 8570 IAM I or IAT II certification or equivalent
Education and Experience requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree +2 years related experience
- Associate's Degree +4 years related experience
- High School Diploma +6 years related experience
Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and relevant guidance like NIST 800-53, NIST 800-37, CNSSI 1253, FIPS 199, ICD 503, etc.
Experience in tasks such as RMF IV&V events, analysis of results, document creation, code reviews, and tool utilization for analysis and reporting.
Establishing SOPs, checklists, and documentation to streamline processes and enhance validation performance.

Clearance:

Selected applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
