Description

• Must have the ability to obtain government security clearance
• Degree or certification in engineering, GIS or a related field is strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a GIS related position is preferred
• Previous experience in electric distribution systems is preferred

• Assists engineering and operations department in building, maintaining, and modifying or using geographic information systems (GIS) databases
• Responsible for maintaining and accurately updating GCEC's system maps
• Manages internal databases and workflows that are utilized by multiple departments within GCEC to improve overall efficiency, reliability, and safe operations of the GCEC electric and water systems
• Utilize Futura mapping/ staking software to make additions and corrections to the GCEC mapping system
