Logistics SME/Engineer - Top Secret

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Logistics SME/Engineer who will Develops and integrates concepts that involve requirements, design, development, production, testing, training and logistics support in all phases of the life-cycle of acquisition. Responsibilities:

Supports the analysis and specification of requirements that ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions.
Applies extensive knowledge of DoD supply chain processes to design and implement efficient logistics strategies, re-engineer, and integrate logistics processes, systems, and equipment.
Experienced with the building and maintenance of supply chain modeling and simulation techniques and software applications, specifically including the application of AI/ML.
Comprehensive knowledge of a familiarity with DoD supply data sources and systems, spanning the acquisition and sustainment communities.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams and supports the translation of requirements, including purchasing, production, and sales, to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and manage supply chain risks, into technical specifications of equipment, software, facilities, data and personnel.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
Plans and leads major technology assignments.
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

Required: Bachelor's degree with minimum of ten years of relevant experience and demonstrated experience with Department of Defense (DOD) logistics and supply chain risk management processes and requirements;
Required: Must possess and maintain a DoD TOP SECRET Clearance and be able to obtain a Common Access Card.
Desired: Master's degree or higher (no preference for Ph.D. vs. Master's degree) An advanced degree can be substituted for two years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency developing integrated data products and databasing solutions, including in SQL, Spark, and Databricks; working knowledge of data contained in 3+ DoD-related enterprise supply chain IT systems and data sources, for example Navy ERP, DLA EBS, DLA DSS, Logiquest, or Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS); are highly desired.
