    Position Summary:

    Join Gateway Adult Care as our HR Support Specialist for Compliance, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the effective administration of HR policies and compliance across all our locations. This position is key to maintaining our commitment to a respectful and lawful workplace environment.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administer FMLA, OFLA, and other protected leaves to ensure organizational compliance and support employee needs.
    • Manage the ADA interactive process and ensure compliance, assisting with accommodations and related matters.
    • Oversee benefits administration, including health, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and flexible spending accounts, ensuring employees receive their entitled benefits smoothly and efficiently.
    • Maintain meticulous records, ensuring all compliance documentation, tracking, and file maintenance are up-to-date and accurate.
    • Assist with conducting internal investigations as needed, providing support to ensure thorough and impartial processes.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.*
    • Proven knowledge of employment law, especially pertaining to FMLA, OFLA, ADA, and other compliance-related areas.
    • Proficiency in MS Office with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A minimum of three years of experience in HR operations or a closely related field, demonstrating strong capability in compliance and administrative roles.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • SHRM-CP or PHR certification strongly preferred, reflecting advanced professional HR knowledge.

    * Equivalent years of additional experience in a compliance-related Human Resources role may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

    This is a full-time, non-exempt position based at our corporate office in Downtown Eugene.
