    Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced manager to lead our Deployment & Operations team. Reporting to the TSSD Digital Transformation Director, focused on deployment of digital transformation capabilities to our division stakeholders. The manager will be responsible for overseeing the project planning, execution, and delivery of team scope, day-to-day operations, managing resources, and ensuring the team's performance aligns with organizational goals and objectives. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

    Responsibilities
    • Lead and manage the Deployment & Operations team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of team operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and prioritize needs, requirements, and initiatives.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Act as subject matter expert in our business-enabling tools, providing guidance and advice to internal teams and stakeholders as needed.
    • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for projects and initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of results.
    • Lead team projects, including assigning tasks, setting goals, and providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
    • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
    • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management in a clear and timely manner.
    • Serve as a liaison between the project team and other departments or external partners, facilitating collaboration and alignment.

    Basic Qualifications
    • 8 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or 6 years with a Masters Degree. In lieu of a degree, 12 years of experience will be considered.
    • Proven experience managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
    • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
    • Experience with people management, including team building, performance management, and conflict resolution.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Experience working in Agile teams (SAFe, Scrum, etc.).
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Active/current Top Secret.
    • PMP, Agile-related, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
    • Experience in training, product lifecycle management, service delivery, and/or customer service.
    • Experience with PTC Windchill, Thingworx, Vuforia, and/or Creo.
    Salary Range: $108,400 - $188,300

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
