    Description

    **LOCATION:** Madison, WI **Summary:** The QTI Group is assisting our valued client in recruiting to hire multiple **Packagers** for a well-established company located on the southwest side of Madison. This company is a leading designer and manufacturer of plastic packaging, producing quality thermoformed and injection molded packaging. This temporary, full-time position is on the night shift and will operate from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am and offers a pay rate of $17.25/hour.

    **Responsibilities:**

    Inspect and pack product to quality specifications and standards

    Apply case labels and maintain proper numerical sequence of cases

    Verify material for disposal and regrind

    Remove tubs of recycling material from the operations floor

    Follow dispatches and print work orders and labels

    Process skid and hold tags

    Actively participate in layered audits

    Conduct Oracle transactions as needed

    Identify and communicate quality deviations or nonconforming product

    Read product drawings and perform product measurements

    Participate in 5S programs

    Perform other duties as assigned

    **Qualifications:**

    Stand-up and standup-reach forklift experience is a plus

    RF scanner experience is a plus

    Steel toe shoes are required

    Must follow all established safety procedures and use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

    Pre-employment drug screen is required
