    Job Title:
    Director of Nursing (Temp to Hire)

    Location:

    Larimore, NDDuration: 13-week temporary assignment before potential transition to permanent positionSalary: Depending on experience: Min: $ Mid: $ Max: $63.

    00 per hour (weekly gross during the 13-week assignment: $3,500)

    Sign-on Bonus:
    $10,000 with a 1-year employment commitment, paid out in 3 incrementsRelocation: Potentially available

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing to join our team in Larimore, ND.

    This position offers a unique opportunity for a qualified individual to initially join us on a temporary basis with the potential for permanent employment.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing nursing operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive work environment.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    Formulate and work within the annual budget, recruit, hire, and staff the work area appropriately using accurate scheduling systems.

    Acquire resources to promote a quality work environment and ensure quality performance and compliance with regulations and laws. Participate in state and/or federal nursing home survey processes, write resultant plans of correction (POC), and ensure their implementation. Lead the management and monitoring/auditing of the EMR system, including training, documentation, and reporting. Keep abreast of and implement new programs or practices to improve nursing care. Accept accountability for activities under direct control, plan, and organize departmental work effectively. Promote cooperative working relationships within and between departments. Perform/assign completion of pre-admission assessments and ensure comprehensive nursing assessments are conducted for all residents. Assure adherence to Facility policy regarding restraints or seclusion use and residents' rights. Immediately report any concerns related to resident rights, abuse, or neglect in accordance with facility policy. Ensure appropriate training and utilization of the scheduling system by staff. Participate in location care conferences, special events, and task forces. Maintain accurate records for each resident and assure physicians are promptly notified of changes in condition. Supervise assigned employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management.


    Qualifications:
    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Registered nurse licensure for the state of practice is required. CPR/BLS certification. Supervisory experience preferred. Prior work experience may not be required for this position.


    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    Directly supervise assigned employee(s) and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing work, performance appraisal, and addressing complaints.
