- The OEM products encompassed by this position are bearings, encoders, various mechanical assemblies, motors, and other OEM components.
- This position requires active supplier management, advanced negotiation skills and development of processes to improve OEM sourcing strategy.
- Applicants for this position must be excited about working in a fast paced startup type environment with opportunities to direct supply chain strategy in the coming years.
- Develop sourcing strategy for OEM parts to include existing and new suppliers, both locally and globally
- Actively manage OEM suppliers, including continued cost negotiations
- Work with Engineering team for NPI project OEM part sourcing
- Manage cost down road maps for OEM products
- Expert negotiation skills
- Experience developing an OEM supply base
- Experience developing a global supply chain
- Experience with managing cost and costdown activities
- Familiarity with the needs of NPI projects
- Outstanding communication and analytical skills
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create and present compelling proposals to the suppliers, and to communicate to senior management
- Experience working with shifting priorities and moving deadlines
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Experience with MRP systems including creating and presenting proposals to senior management and our suppliers
- Bachelor's Degree required

Description
The Director of OEM Sourcing will develop a strategic approach to OEM products with the supplier base and develop a strategy focused on developing long term relationships with OEM suppliers, cost containment and reduction, and evaluating alternate suppliers.
