    Description:

    We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to contribute to the development of an engaging and intuitive category-based browsing experience on eBay. This experience plays a critical role in the buyer journey at eBay, while also driving significant traffic to category pages through search engine optimization.

    Main Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will own specific product components from roadmap planning through execution, evaluation, and iteration. They will collaborate closely with engineers, business stakeholders, analysts, researchers, and designers to identify customer needs, develop strategies, and test solutions.

    • Drive the roadmap and execution for key products within the category page experience
    • Analyze requirements from multiple business verticals and develop a strategy for shared horizontal solutions
    • Present quarterly and annual plans to senior leadership
    • Perform competitive analysis and market research
    • Gather and document product requirements
    • Manage an engineering backlog
    • Conduct A/B tests, analyze, and report on results with recommended actions

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate should possess:

    • Bachelor's degree in CS (preferred)
    • 5+ years of experience in product management
    • Strong technical aptitude, business acumen, and design sensibilities
    • Experience coordinating a team of engineers
    • Experience with A/B quantitative testing
    • Data-driven and results-oriented decision-making
    • Track record of product execution and delivery
    • Experience working with user experience design and research
    • Effective written and oral communication
    • Comfortable working in large, matrixed organizations
    • Experience with e-commerce or other consumer-facing products (preferred)
