- Minimum 5 years technical training or experience in mechanical repair is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable
- Valid clean driver's license (Road Technician)
- Able to work beyond scheduled work hours M-F 8am-4:30pm and available on-call if needed.
- Able to work independently.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and material handling equipment.
- Must have the ability to perform strenuous and heavy work; exert force up to 100 pounds on occasion and frequently handle loads to 50 pounds. Must have the physical stamina to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.

Job DescriptionAre you a skilled mechanic looking for an exciting opportunity to work on the road while providing exceptional customer service? We're seeking experienced professionals to join our team and be the face of Thompson and Johnson Equipment based out of our Schenectady branch. As a Road Technician with Thompson & Johnson, you will diagnose and repair equipment and have the opportunity to be a hero to our customers. Successful Road Technicians become trusted advisors to our customers helping us "Deliver our Promise."
Our technicians are eligible for a generous benefits package to include:
