    Job Summary:
    Under general supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. Provides information for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies. May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment. May provide guidance to lower-level material handlers.


    Responsibilities:


    Restock electrical component shelves and material carts to flow product in and out of assemblyMove completed units to shipping area.

    Knowledge of production reportingVerifies material counts against reported productionManage supermarket inventory and identify potential line stoppage eventsReport material issues (ex. shortages, damage, delays) to Supervisor for quick resolutionApply lean manufacturing principles to develop and improve material processing & flow processesProcess receiving function of materials and Purchase OrdersReview production documentation for accuracy of material against drawingsForward planning based off work center requirements to help supervisors communicate/resolve potential material shortagesWork with production supervisors to resolve on hand material discrepancies.
    Pick Material from designated locations and perform associated ERP transactionsVerify & record inventory counts by rack location.

    Perform Part Visual Management audits escalating issuesPerform Safety Audits as assignedKnowledge of multiple jobs across different Value StreamsTrain and backfill jobs based on business needsAssist in Training new team membersMay be required to perform other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:
    Must have capability to operate within IQMS system (ex.

    BOMs, check for received material, match Purchase Orders w/part numbers, review POs) or similar ERP environmentMust be familiar with electrical components (ex.

    VFD, PLC, Circuit Breaker, Disconnect, Relay, Line Reactors, Motor Protector)Minimum 2 years of electrical panel wiring experience preferredMust be able to lift to 50 lbs.

    Must be able to become forklift certifiedThis job description describes the general nature and level of work expected of a person assigned to this position.
