    MODLOGIQ is seeking a full-time, Junior Estimator to join our growing team in our New Holland, PA office. As a Junior Estimator you will be part of our Preconstruction Team, and will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of the estimating process.

    Valid driver's license – Holding and maintaining a current and valid Pennsylvania driver's license is a condition of your employment.

    Specific Job Duties:

    Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required.

    Collaborate with subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.

    Utilize construction estimating software to create detailed and comprehensive estimates.

    Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.

    Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of materials at competitive prices.

    Participate in pre-bid meetings to assess project requirements and conditions.

    Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys to accurately estimate materials quantities.

    Occasional travel may be requested.

    Collaborate with Project Managers to develop project budgets and cost control measures.

    Coordinate sub-trade RFI's.

    Transmit addenda and other bid information to subcontractors.

    Knowledge of the Construction CSI Divisions is a plus but not required.

    Basic knowledge of Building Codes, Construction, Estimating and Materials is a plus but not required.

    Basic blueprint reading; understand reading and interpretation of drawings.

    Ability to learn and understand scopes of work and specifications.

    Basic knowledge of methods of construction, procedures, practices, materials, equipment, tools, precautions, and safety is a plus.

    PC proficiency in a Windows environment, especially in Excel, Word and Outlook and other construction software applications is required.

    Skills in Time Management and Teamwork.
