    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a major hospital campus in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an Ohio or compact RN license in hand.

    Responsibilities

    • Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a large academic hospital campus
    • Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
    • 3x12-hour shifts per week
    • Shift scheduling is variable and may be adjusted based on hospital operational needs, though preferred shifts will be honored when possible
    • ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to proceed
    • Must be available to work at least every other holiday
    • Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations
    • A minimum 6-month break is required before starting another assignment at any location within this health system
    • Two professional references are required for consideration

    Requirements

    • Active Ohio RN license or compact state license currently in hand
    • Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
    • Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
    • 18 months of permanent (staff) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required prior to any travel assignments
    • A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration
