    AREA MANAGER

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The Area Manager duties and responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
    The Area Manager's role is to maximize sales and achieve profit for the Barri stores.

    The Area Manager is expected to manage through sales leadership, continuous training, development, and execution of non-negotiable standards of operation.

    The focus of the Area Manager is to build and sustain a work environment staffed with engaged, high performing Sales Associates and Senior Sales Associates who create a customer experience that is second to none.

    Directly responsible for recruiting staff, onboarding, and training new staff members, retaining top tier talent, managing coaching, and monitoring goal achievement to maintain sales performance for sales associate in assigned area.

    Analyze the workload and the personnel needs of organizational unit. Recommend increases and decreases in number of staff. Train, develop, and motivate subordinates to improve their present performance and to prepare for higher-level jobs.
    Create the schedules of the sales associates according to the need of the company.

    Achieve the Company's growth strategy through a blended approach of root cause analysis and action plans towards operational efficiencies and proficiencies.

    Assisting in the personnel development and tactical direction of your defined area while sharing best practices with other area managers and Barri Financial Group's management team.

    Overseeing the execution and / or coordinated roll out of new training for the Company's products or services.
    Preventive maintenance of computer equipment and peripherals.
    Technical Support on site to troubleshoot and/or replace equipment, peripherals, and cabling.
    Perform audits or review of branch, verify cash and inventories for complete quality and within established limits.

    Verify and control the cash flow of the branches under your responsibility, as well as monitor for the necessary changes.

    Handling corrective actions, investigations, and terminations of employment.
    Handling of any emergency in relation to the operation and safety of the sales associates and branches.

    All other responsibilities, duties, and authority usually accorded to and expected of an Area Operation & Sales Manager in a similarly sized company in the consumer business and such other responsibilities.


    REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
    High school diploma, GED or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
    Minimum of 1-3 years multi-unit managing experience preferred.
    Sales experience is necessary.
    Strong leadership, communication, technical, logical, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to learn new applications and system and the ability to influence staff to learn continuously and improve performance.
    Strong organizational skills.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to process complex time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions and communicate actions.
    Ability to manage to meet strict deadlines and budget criteria.
    Ability and initiative to work extra hours as projects and deadlines dictate.
    Bilingual Spanish speaking, reading and writing.
    Money Transfer Industry or related knowledge is preferable.
    Ability to work independently and lead a sales team.
    Ability to constructively coach others to success.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office:
    Word, Excel, etc.).
    Driving long distances to supervise area stores.
    Travel extensively by automobile, exposed to outside weather conditions.
    Stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
    Stoop or kneel.
    Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
    Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
