    Responsibilities


    Working in our fast-moving Cath Lab certainly offers a variety of clinical challenges to Cath Lab Techs who choose this clinical area.

    We love techs who can wear many hats and think quickly on their feet while providing the best patient care The Cath Lab Tech Performs duties of circulating, scrub, and monitoring of invasive cardiology procedures.

    Demonstrates an understanding of all invasive procedures, the equipment and supplies for each procedure, and indications for performing each procedure.

    This position assists the cardiologist with both diagnostic and interventional procedures during cardiac catheterizations and contributes to the operations of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab

    Qualifications


    Minimum Requirements:
    Associate's degree.


    Required Licenses/Certifications:
    Current BLS certification required and current ACLS certification or completion of certification within 90 days of hire.

    One of two pathways required for position:


    Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certificate administered by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and current Washington State Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification.

    OR


    Current Washington State Certification for Radiologic Technologist and a certificate from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) as well as current registration with ARRT.


    This position also requires current certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology (RTR-VI), Cardiovascular Interventional (RTR-CV), Cardiac Interventional (RTR-CI) or successful completion of this post primary certification within six months of hire.


    Preferred:
    Bachelor's degree and experience assisting with structural heart procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman device placement, etc.
