Job summary
The Infection Preventionist participates in the implementation of the infection prevention program at the hospital level. This individual will be involved in the education of health care providers, consultation to leadership and hospital staff regarding infection prevention issues, and communicate and implement effective evidence-based infection prevention practices.The Infection Preventionist supports Infection Prevention improvement projects across the hospital, working in conjunction with physicians, department directors and clinical staff.
