IntroductionThe BUSY School is an independent Special Assistance School with 10 campuses across Cairns, Brisbane, Gold Coast/Coolangatta and New Zealand, providing an alternative program for Year 11 and 12 students who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from education. Our program has expanded to include The BUSY School Online (TBSO) offering flexible access to our program for all students across Queensland.
Each campus provides a supportive and safe learning environment for young people by providing them with an education program that includes vocational education and training (VET), work experience and opportunities for school-based apprenticeships and traineeships. Our team support the students to gain employability and transferability skills to increases their sense of wellbeing, resilience, belonging, academic achievement, career exploration and employment outcomes.
Our teams' focus is centred at re-engaging our students to learn, remain eligible for a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and gain employment or further training outcomes upon student's graduation from Year 12.

About the position...
Based at our Cleveland Campus, you will be re-engaging students in Year 11 or 12.
This is a temp role, working 27th March to 3rd July 2026.

Skills And Experiences
About you...
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Hold full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a Teacher in Queensland
- Ability to work within the curriculum of secondary education
