    Description

    Job Responsibilities:

    Review new requests for dealer data, ensuring requestors complete the Dealer Data Authorization form.

    Ensure that business teams understand and adhere to the Dealer Data Governance Process.

    Assist business teams as they navigate the Dealer Data Governance Process and related process including:

    · Privacy Impact Assessment

    · External Data Transfer Policy

    · Application Registration (ASMS), if needed

    · Maintain and publish status of each request

    · Ensure submitted DDA forms are complete and thoroughly document a request for dealer data including purpose, source of dealer data, specific data elements requested, data flows, use and all third parties.

    · Perform annual audits on the anniversary of active Dealer Data Authorization forms.

    · Develop data lineage reports to capture each dealer data flow from source to consumption, highlighting changes and transformation of dealer data.

    · Document business requirements for occasions where it is necessary to acquire additional dealer data from dealer third-party service providers to meet a business need where there is dealer consent.

    · Support the creation and maintenance of a dealer data dictionary, provide context and understanding to data elements, ensure consistency and accuracy in data interpretation.

    · Support the documentation and implementation of data quality policies, standards, and procedures for dealer data systems.

    · Ensure data governance practices and dealer data use adheres to federal and state regulatory requirements.

    · Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data governance, such as data quality metrics, compliance levels, and incident reports, and provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of data governance initiatives.

    · Recommend solutions to improve our Dealer Data Governance posture.

    · Knowledge and experience working with IT processes and projects, gain high-level understanding of complex IT solutions; strong technical skills.

    · Ability to read and create a complex data flow diagram is critical to success.

    · Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness.

    · Strong meeting facilitation skills and a demonstrated ability to influence teams toward collaboration and problem solving for an optimal solution.

    · Ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task within time constraints.

    · Strong oral and written communication skills.

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite, including Visio.

    The following qualifications are a plus:

    · SQL expertise

    · Experience with analytic tools and databases such as Tableau, Power BI, Oracle

    · Experience with Watson Knowledge Catalog (WKC), Atlan, or similar data catalog tool

    Candidate Requirements

    · Bachelor's degree in any field.

    · Visio

    · Be able to development and understand data flow diagram

    · Be able to critique/explain a data flow diagram – VERY IMPORTANT.
