Job summary
The Assistant Director works under the supervision of the Aspen Opera Theatre & VocalARTS (AOTVA) Production Manager to provide support for AOTVA director(s) and artistic staff.Responsibilities
- Attend all rehearsals, performances, and meetings with the AOTVA directors, prepare scores/librettos, keep notes during rehearsals, and assist in creating the daily schedule with directors, stage management,
& the company manager. - Liaise between directors and production staff to foster good communication
& clear leadership working toward the common goal of a successful rehearsal
& tech process.
