    Proxy and Application Gateway Engineering

    The Team

    Fidelity s Enterprise Infrastructure Global Network Team is looking for a director level individual contributor to join the Network Proxy Engineering (NPE) team. We are a group of experts eager to showcase emerging technologies to enhance Fidelity's Business Units efficiently.

    As a member of the NPE team, you will work on various proxy projects, collaborate with Fidelity Application Architecture (FAA) team on upcoming technologies, provide 3rd line operational support, and assist in problem resolution. Your role will involve handling complex incidents, collaborating with technology partners, and contributing to the security of Fidelity's critical resources through designing Proxy environments.

    The Expertise and Skill You Bring

    • 5+ years experience in proxy and network security
    • 10+ years in network engineering
    • Knowledge of Cloud proxies such as Zscaler, ZIA, and ZDX
    • Experience with different types of Proxies including Web, SOCKS, and explicit proxies
    • Familiarity with technologies like Symantec Blue Coat and NGINX
    • Strong grasp of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, and the OSI Model
    • Proficiency in network security best practices
    • Skills in PAC File functions, Javascript, and SSL Interception
    • Agile best practices knowledge and familiarity with Jira
    • Ability to troubleshoot Network and Proxy issues, participate in engineering escalation, and manage technology life cycles
    • Experience in customer connectivity solutions, documentation, team leadership, and change management
    • Software development and automation skills in Python and Ansible
