    Our Founder and Managing Attorney is an entrepreneur who is passionate about protecting her clients, so they don't get screwed. We need an empathetic Paralegal who is mature, caring and wants to ensure the client experience with our Firm is second to none.

    We have set our sights on being the "go-to firm" for Family Law in Monmouth County. While we are focused on rapid growth, we are still small enough to care about every team member and client. We need someone who is interested in being with us as we grow and is willing to wear multiple hats until the workload supports hiring additional team members.

    We also need someone who is a customer service superstar with the right amount of empathy to help people navigate the emotional and uncertain waters of divorce and family law matters.

    The ideal candidate will have experience taking initiative on work that needs to be done and completing tasks with minimal supervision. Preference given to candidates with 5-10+ years of experience as a Paralegal in a Family Law Firm. The most important quality you can possess is a great attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and help wherever it's needed.

    Your basic responsibilities:

    · Organize and analyze financial documents

    · Read financial statements and prepare financial disclosures

    · Manage, organize, analyze discovery and records

    · Draft standard legal pleadings and correspondence

    · Communicate with Clients, Attorneys, and Support Staff

    · Calculate, track, and meet deadlines.

    - You must be available to work and be in the office Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (when safe to do so)

    - You must have strong administrative skills and be detail-oriented

    - You must be comfortable working with various computer programs, databases and systems

    - You must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain strict confidentiality

    - You don't think case status updates or filing documents is beneath you

    - You must be a positive, high-energy team player who is results-oriented – No Drama

    - You must care about something and have goals in life.
