    Position Summary

    Provides/oversees that continual training is present n the assessment, development, implementation, and/or management of assisting individuals to attain their own personal outcomes Personal outcomes for individuals may be achieved by opportunities being present in the areas of self-identity, autonomy, affiliation, attainment, safeguards, rights, and health wellness. Trains, supervises, and evaluates support staff ensuring evidence of personal outcomes or the persons we support.

The essential duties reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the job.
    • Must work 40 hours per week on the schedule in the ABA site.
    • Provide on-call support to assigned work sites bi-weekly.
    • Schedule and co-facilitate the monthly meeting by developing the monthly agenda.
    • Ensure all RBT's working at the site provide care and guidance to the people we support in accordance with all legal regulations, policies, procedures, and training.
    • Ensure all Waiver guidelines and regulations are met or exceeded at assigned site, as well as meeting ethical guidelines by the BACB.
    • Complete 90-day evaluations and assist with annual appraisals with behavioral analyst.
    • Train, supervise, and document the supervision of all staff at assigned work site.
    • Provide and supervise the ABA in-home orientation packet, to include but not limited to: ABA In-Home Orientation, ISP questionnaire, supervised med passes, proper securing of medications and the Policy and Procedure acknowledgment. This is to be completed for all new staff members including staff members filling in at the assigned site.
    • Ensure all RBT's have been adequately trained and directed on the Adaptive Equipment Binder (purple) and the responsibilities surrounding all adaptive equipment.
    • Attend all monthly nursing visits with Sunnyhill Community RN. File monthly nursing summaries in the medical book.
    • Maintain staff schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing in accordance with contractual staffing pattern and budgets, and communicate any staffing needs to ABA Quality Assurance Specialist.
    • Coordinate all aspects of filling direct care shifts as needed, without utilizing overtime hours.
    • Work direct support as needed to offset overtime and/or provide coverage due to unexpected schedule changes or to meet the needs of the people we support.
    • Ensure that daily log notes provide a complete record of staffing support that was provided to each individual receiving services as well as documentation for behavioral services have been completed accurately.
    • Train and support all staff at assigned site to implement behavioral programming as outlined by the analyst and the behavior support plan.
    • Discipline staff when necessary, according to their job description, employee handbook and/or Sunnyhill policies and procedures. Responsible for composing discipline, scheduling employee, and serving discipline within 3 business days.
    • Assist with developing the annual ISP with the support team.
    • Ensure all prescribed medications and treatments for individuals receiving services are available and taken as directed by maintaining current orders and supplies.
    • Review medication and Medication Administration Records (MARs) for every person supported two times every week. Must check medications and complete medication errors if discovered.
    • Attend medical appointments as necessary.
    • Ensure the cleanliness of homes and address all maintenance needs with a help-desk facilities request to the maintenance department.
    • Ensure that the safety of all people we support receiving services is maintained by ensuring that all staff working at the site complete initial emergency drills, monthly fire drills, and quarterly earthquake, tornado, and intruder drills. To be documented by the last day of the month and submitted for review by midnight on the 5th of the following month.
    • Communicate consistently and positively with guardians, service coordinators, and other service providers.
    • Act as liaison for all residential habilitation issues for people we support with outside agencies as needed.
    • Complete a BACB approved RBT course and maintain registration to the BACB current.
    • Assists the BCBA/BCaBA in implementing behavioral programming in a 1:1 setting.
    • Collect data on all programming and write progress notes.
    • Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information.
    • Demonstrates sound judgement critical thinking and decision making.
    • All other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor.
    Requirements

    Education & Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED
    Required Skills/Abilities & Qualifications
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and function well in a high-paced (at times stressful) environment.
    • Valid driver's license and auto insurance (use of personal vehicle required at times)
    • Acceptable background checks
    Physical Requirements
    • Able to stand, walk, and sit four (4) hours at a time.
    • Repetitive bending and reaching up to two (2) hours a day.
    • Able to lift 25 pounds from floor to waist.
    Salary Description

    $23/hour
