    Description

    At Miller Plastic Products, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Precision Plastics Fabricator and Welder to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with plastics and has a keen eye for detail.

    About the Role

    This role involves working on a diverse range of projects, from small enclosures to large tanks, using various types of plastics suited to specific applications. As a Precision Plastics Fabricator and Welder, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings to plan layouts and procedures, setting up components for welding according to specifications, and aligning components using jigs and clamps.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan layouts and procedures.
    • Set up components for welding according to specifications and drawings.
    • Align components using jigs, clamps, calipers, rulers, and other devices.
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety protocols.
    • Process job paperwork/job packets.
    • Operate forklifts to transport and move jobs.
    • Cut and assemble components, tack, and weld.
    • Manage and execute jobs with minimal supervision, from blueprint to finished product.

    Requirements

    • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong basic math and measuring skills.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
    • Mechanical abilities and experience with general power tools and equipment.
    • Motivation to learn and advance in your role.
    • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Willingness to work overtime (rarely required).
    • Detail-oriented mindset.
