- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.
- Help clients with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying up living spaces, and errands.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation, activities, and recreational outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.
- Ensure client safety and well-being at all times, following proper procedures for lifting, transferring, and positioning as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, including daily activity logs, medication records, and any incidents or concerns.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, therapists, and family caregivers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing client care and privacy.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in caregiving techniques, communication, and safety practices.
