    The Hematopathology Service in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at MSK is seeking an outstanding academic hematopathologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Attending Pathologist.

    Experience and qualifications in flow cytometry, molecular diagnostics or coagulation is desirable.

    The MSK Hematopathology and Hematology Services led by Dr.

    Lauren McVoy respectively represent one of the largest hematopathology/hematology clinical practices in the United States dedicated to the care of cancer patients and diagnosis of hematological malignancies.

    The services employ 24 faculty comprising hematopathologists, immunologists and clinical pathologists supported by a dedicated team of allied health staff and state of the art laboratory infrastructure including automated hematology platforms, digital and computational pathology systems, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, automated hematology platforms, cellular immunology, coagulation, proteomics, cytogenetics and molecular pathology laboratories.

    MSK has world class clinical and research programs in lymphoid and myeloid malignancies, and the position offers unprecedented opportunities for collaborative research and research funding.

    Provide hematopathology, immunology and hematology diagnostic services and support for patients with solid cancers and hematological malignancies

    Develop and support translational and clinical research in hematological malignancies
    Take part in fellow and allied health staff education

    Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology

    Subspecialty training and board certification or eligibility in hematopathology
    A strong academic track record in the subspecialty
