    Vassar Brothers Medical Center, located in Poughkeepsie, NY, just 75 minutes north of New York City, is seeking an additional Radiation Oncologist to join its growing department. Our model of care is multi-disciplinary and integrated. In collaboration with Surgical and Medical Oncologists, we have a cohesive team of employed medical oncologists and allied health providers that will function in a comprehensive and integrated model of care.

    The ideal candidate will be:
  • ABR board-certified, or eligible.
  • Comfortable performing advanced radiation techniques including linac-based SRS, SBRT, IGRT, and brachytherapy.
  • Personable and interested in forming strong, collaborative, relationships with referring providers.
  • Interested in building/developing programs, enrolling patients in clinical trials, and participating in tumor boards.Vassar Brothers Medical Center provides our 4 hospital system and multi-specialty practice with tertiary oncology services and is accredited by The American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. Vassar has many of the key elements of a comprehensive oncology service line in place, including a Radiation Oncology team and Surgical Oncology Services in Breast, Thoracic, GI, Gyn Onc, and Urology.
