- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base among contractors and businesses in the construction industry.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs actively.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by providing superior customer service and support.
- Present, promote, and sell Tucson Rubberized Coatings' products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Organize and attend client meetings, including site visits, to assess roofing needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring clients' satisfaction.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs to identify and target key opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure clients are informed about our latest products and services.
- Provide detailed reports on sales activities, including potential sales, customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and foster a team environment.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote our products.
- Proven work experience as a B2B sales representative, specifically in the roofing, roof coatings, or construction industry.
- Deep knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and the construction business landscape.
- Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to seek out new business opportunities with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Familiarity with CRM software practices along with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- High degree of professionalism, with a results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet business requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and challenges.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships.
