    ILA is a fine jewelry design studio based in Houston, Texas. ILA's line of jewelry is carried in high-end boutiques and retailers throughout the US and abroad such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Catbird in New York City.

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production and Quality Manager to join our team. This role will primarily focus on managing our craftsman, optimizing workflow, managing project schedules, and providing administrative support within the workshop.

    The ideal candidate must have managerial experience and strong organizational skills is a *must*.

    Additionally, the Manager will assist with shipping and other administrative duties as needed to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the speed and efficiency of the craftsmen
    • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects and orders.
    • Coordinate with production team members to allocate resources, prioritize tasks, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
    • Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    • Communicate project timelines and deadlines to relevant stakeholders, including production staff, management, and clients.
    • Track project progress and provide regular updates on status, potential delays, and anticipated completion dates.
    • Assist with inventory management, including ordering materials, tracking stock levels, and organizing supplies.
    • Coordinate shipping and receiving of finished goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
    • Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging materials as needed.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as design, sales, and customer service, to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
    • Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining records and files.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience managing employees and not afraid to adeptly manage their performance and communicate their performance clearly.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proficiency in software applications.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    • Experience with shipping procedures and logistics is desirable.
    • Passion for jewelry and a commitment to excellence in craftsmanship and customer service.
