    Overview:
    Our client is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their Estimating team.

    The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in construction estimating to assist in preparing estimates for various disciplines, analyzing specifications, and contract plans to achieve cost efficiency, meeting pursuit, schedule, and price goals.

    Position can be remote work from home.

    What you will be doing:

    Estimate Preparation:
    Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work. Incorporate historical data from purchase orders and subcontract agreements into estimates.

    Risk and Cost Analysis:
    Provide technical input on project and contract risks. Ensure the final estimate aligns with the project's schedule and cost objectives.

    Client and Vendor Consultation:
    Engage with clients, vendors, and team members to discuss and formulate estimates. Address issues and contribute to project strategies and decisions.

    Project Hand-off:

    Partner with the estimating team to facilitate smooth transitions from the pursuit team to project management.

    Vendor and Subcontractor Selection:
    Research and recommend vendors and subcontractors that align with project goals and budget.

    What we are looking for:

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

    Experience:


    Minimum of 5 years in construction estimating or cost control, with a preference for experience in alternative construction delivery methods.


    Certifications:
    Relevant company or regulatory certifications, including company safety certifications.

    Skills:
    Proficiency in HCSS Heavy Bid Estimating Software, strong communication and technical writing abilities, and excellent time management.
