    Description

    The Maintenance Manager for planning, leading, and managing the day to day operations of a Chemical Plant Maintenance department. The Maintenance Manager will work to improve the plant facilities by fostering an environment of operational excellence and safety.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage maintenance activities for the chemical plants operational equipment and facilities
    • Develop relationships with outside vendors, contractors and consultants, as well as employees
    • Direct maintenance activities to maintain maximum plant operating efficiency
    • Lead by example and drive the importance of safety adherence
    • Manage and control the budget for the maintenance department
    • Participate in the annual budget process and develop the maintenance department budget
    • Propose and develop budgets and action plans for CAPEX projects
    • Oversee all scheduling for the maintenance department team
    • Coordinate with the maintenance team needed repair work to equipment and facilities
    • Verify daily plant processing equipment inspections
    • Ensure the plant is kept clean and order, establishing and maintaining 5S system

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or related field preferred
    • 10+ years in and industrial maintenance or chemical manufacturing environment
    • 5 Years of experience in a management/leadership role
    • Experience working with SAP
    • Experience and demonstrated knowledge troubleshooting processing equipment
