    Position Summary

    The Accounting Analyst maintains financial, analyzes financial data, and drives process improvement that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounting and financial operations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Support the daily activities of the accounting department while driving performance, employee development, and process improvements.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize accounting and financial processes, systems, and controls.
    • Collaborate with relevant departments to implement enhancements and streamline operations.
    • Identify opportunities for automating data-entry and reconciliation processes.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for cost control, incorporating process improvements.
    • Support month-end close accounting activities.
    • Compile, analyze, and report financial information to management.
    • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
    Qualifications

    Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction accounting. Must have at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of accounts payable policies and procedures. Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word. Ability to multi-task and coordinate with other department managers for the Accounts Payable payment processing.

    Physical Demands

    Ability to work in a highly stressful and high-volume working environment. Must be available to work long hours and weekends. May be required to lift to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be able to sit and work directly on a computer for long periods of time. All the physical demands listed are essential functions.
