    Job DescriptionSalary: $20-25/hr

    Executive/Personal Assistant

    Join a dynamic team of professionals in the legal industry as an executive assistant to the firm's owner. In addition to providing support to the owner, you also will assist with various household tasks. Experience a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact in both the business and personal aspects of the owner's life.

    We are a small, fast-paced and rapidly growing law firm devoted to family law in Washington State. Our mission is to provide value to clients above and beyond providing exemplary legal representation.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain a personal calendar and work with the owner's legal assistant to ensure the personal calendar and work calendar mesh/do not conflict.
    • Contact professional contacts and referral sources to schedule networking meetings.
    • Register for conferences and CLEs.
    • Handle all aspects of travel (business trips, family vacation, air fare, car service, dinner reservations, activities during trips/vacations, etc.).
    • Screen calls.
    • Ensure responses to communications are sent timely.
    • Deal with simple office IT issues or arrange for assistance from the COO.
    • Manage family calendar.
    • Schedule personal appointments (doctor, hair, tailor, etc.).
    • Keep home and home office organized.
    • Sort physical mail and send it to appropriate staff when necessary.
    • Manage household projects.
    • Manage (locate, schedule, oversee the work of) services/vendors such as:
      • Housekeeper
      • Car service
      • Handyman
      • Landscaping
    • Grocery shop.
    • Light to moderate cooking and meal preparation.
    • Shop for other household items.
    • Run errands.
    • Laundry
      • Pick up and drop off dry cleaning.
      • Launder bedding and towels weekly.
      • Launder clothing as needed.
    • Drive daughter to and from school and other events.

    Education & Experience

    • 3+ years providing support to high level staff.
    • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of standard office administration practices and procedures.

    Additional Requirements

    • Full home-office setup with computer, high-speed internet, no interruptions from people within the home, and quiet environment when working.
    • Must pass state and national background checks as well as DSHS abuse/neglect background checks.
    • Proof of valid driver's license and auto insurance.
    • Readily available at all times during working hours to assist the owner with ad hoc projects and tasks.
    • Provide three (3) professional references.

    Pay Range

    • $25-30/hour
