Class A Grinder/ Metal Finisher - Henderson, United States - VSR Industries
Description
Grinders are responsible for performing class C/B grinding and finishing work on sheet metal products for secondary operations with low cosmetic visibility.
Deburr, buff, and or polish materials to specifications.
Examines and feels surface of product for defects.
Removal of defects, scratches, excess weld material, and burs to produce a smooth unmarred surface.
Prepare products for secondary operations such as powder coating by achieving a Class C/B finish with low cosmetic visibility.
Ensure that safety devices guards are operative and follow safety protocols.
Performs other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum 1-2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
