    Job Description:

    • Critical care experience is necessary*

    The Non Invasive Cardiology Department over three sites involves EKG's, Monitor placement, and diverse Stress Testing on inpatients and outpatients.

    Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Performing various Stress Testing Procedures such as routine treadmill, nuclear medicine, pharmacological, and echo.
    • Administering medication and monitoring vitals during the Dobutamine Stress Test procedure
    • Assisting the Cardiologist during Cardioversions
    • Conducting EKG's and placing mobile monitors
    • Ensuring all testing data transfers into third party software for MD review
    • Ensuring adequate equipment and supplies for testing
    • Documenting all tests and procedures in patients EMR
    • Assisting with general office duties, including answering the phone, faxing, scanning, greeting patients, and ordering supplies as needed.
    • Participating in Performance Improvement initiatives
    • Participating in all other departmental operational activities as needed.

    Education/ Skills Required

    Bachelor's Degree in Nursing BN preferred

    Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

    Basic Life Support (BLS) required

    Current Advanced Life Support Certification Required

    Experience With Exercise Stress Testing Preferred But Not Required

    Strong organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills required

    Able to work at multiple sites, weekends and holidays
