- Manage all product development, fine tuning and product validation phases by leading the internal team in accordance with customer specifications, quality and cost requirements and milestones.
- Act as the technical liaison between customer and various internal stakeholders throughout the project.
- Proactively provide technical solutions and adjustments to the Engineering Project Manager.
- Ensure continuous improvement and best practices related to product development.
- Participate in the design reviews and collaborate with technical solutions.
- Lead and advance cross-functional and multi-business teams.
- Single point of contact for product engineering in the US for the project with autonomy and expected proactivity and efficiency.
- Bachelor of Science in mechanical or plastics engineering and or design.
- 6+ years in mechanical design and piloting of product development projects with an automotive supplier, ideally plastics.
- CAD tools (Catia).
- Experienced in piloting suppliers and functional management of technical teams (design, tools, process, etc.).
- Detail oriented, organizational skills.
- Experience working with multi-national teams on different continents.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel to Europe for initial training followed by project travel in the US.

- Salary range $115,000 - $130,000. Specific salary is commensurate with experience and factors such as relevant experience, education, certifications and licenses, skills, and training.

We are seeking an experienced Product Engineer that will work closely with the development team in Europe, the local team and suppliers and customer to assure successful product validation phases through SOP.
