Position: Senior Data Architect

Duration: 36 Months

Location: Sacramento, California (Onsite from Day 1)

• Demonstrates experience with the database(s) design of all the components and has an enterprise view and ensures each component/module work together to address the functional requirements.
• Demonstrates experience in data modeling and architecture.
• Demonstrates experience with data warehousing (traditional and cloud) and data governance.
• Hands-on experience in implementation and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering and ETL tools from multiple sources.
• Demonstrates experience with implementation of self-service business intelligence tools.
• Has in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, platforms and solutions as related to data architecture.
• Has the ability to work within an integrated and multi-cloud environment.
• Provides data architecture expertise in building the solution.
• Ensures the data solution addresses all the functional and non-functional requirements.

Staff Mandatory Qualifications:

• The Senior Data Architect shall have at least five (5) years of FTE experience within the last ten (10) years of data architecting enterprise technology solutions with a minimum value of $3M and at least 5,000 internal and external users (including the general public) within the public sector.
• The Senior Data Architect shall have at least three (3) years of FTE experience within the last seven (7) years with the proposed technology to be implemented in the ERP Project.
• The Senior Data Architect shall have at least three (3) years of FTE experience within the last seven (7) years with legacy data conversion, data migration, data implementation, and data quality standards.

Staff Desirable Qualifications:

• The Senior Data Architect will possess and maintain enterprise architecture certification in one or more industry leading architecture framework(s).
• The Senior Data Architect has at least two (2) additional years of FTE experience within the last ten (10) years of data architecting enterprise technology solutions.
• The Senior Data Architect has at least two (2) additional years of FTE experience within the last seven (7) years with the proposed technology to be implemented in the ERP Project.
