    Role Description
    This role demands extensive experience in procurement with a strong emphasis on strategic planning, vendor management, and regulatory compliance.

    Responsibilities:

    Strategy Development:
    Develop and lead procurement strategies, establish companywide purchasing policies, and ensure compliance across all divisions.

    Operational Execution:
    Manage the creation of accurate purchase orders and oversee budgeting for purchasing operations. Enhance efficiency by developing and monitoring standard operating procedures, assessing risks, and making continuous process improvements.

    Market Analysis:
    Monitor and forecast price trends relevant to the industry, staying informed about market dynamics and competitor strategies.

    Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers.

    Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear documentation of requirements and specifications, manage RFP processes, and negotiate contracts to secure optimal terms.


    Supply Chain and Logistics:
    Determine the quantity and timing of deliveries to ensure a consistent supply chain. Adjust supply strategies as necessary to meet operational targets.

    Communication and Compliance:
    Communicate procurement plans and updates to internal teams. Ensure procurement activities adhere to industry regulations and company standards.

    Team Leadership and Development:
    Lead the procurement team, providing mentorship and training in advanced negotiating tactics and purchasing techniques.

    Contract Management:
    Draft, review, and modify contracts with suppliers and service providers, ensuring favorable terms.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree

    in

    Supply Chain Management,

    Business Administration, Logistics or a related field

    Professional Experience:

    Over 5 years of experience in the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies, along with substantial experience in developing and reviewing contracts.


    Negotiation and Networking :

    Highly skilled in negotiation and networking, with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and build strong relationships with business partners and suppliers.


    Vendor Management:
    Proficient in using vendor management software to streamline procurement processes and maintain effective supplier relationships.

    Analytical Ability:


    Strong capability to gather and analyze data, proficient in working with figures to assess procurement needs, forecast demands, and evaluate supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies.

    Technical Skill Requirements

    Proficiency in using supply chain management systems such as SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or similar platforms to manage orders, inventory, and supplier relationships.
