Job Posting: 2024 Summer Internship for Engineering Students

Position: Summer Intern - Engineering

Duration: May to Mid-August

Location: Aalberts Surface Technologies (Piedmont, SC)

Start Date: TBD

Hourly Pay: $16 per hour

Schedule: 8:30am-4pm ( Monday-Friday)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing the APQP process - including prototyping, tooling development & qualification, determining process capability, packaging/labeling, documentation and associate training.
• Involved with customer-specific Safe Launches
• Participates in the transition from safe launch to series production
• Support continuous improvement as well as corrective and preventive actions

Qualifications:

-Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Industrial Engineering (IE), Quality Engineering (QE).

-Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

-Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

-Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards tackling new challenges.
