- Conducting thorough cost estimates for a range of commercial construction projects, from inception to completion.
- Analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to accurately determine project costs.
- Collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing information.
- Developing detailed and competitive bids and proposals.
- Providing value engineering solutions to optimize project costs without sacrificing quality.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to ensure competitiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimation, with a focus on ground-up projects.
- Proficiency in construction estimation software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
