    Your role as a Recovery Coach will involve:

    • Assisting expecting mothers facing substance use issues in discovering their path to recovery.
    • Supporting individuals in Hampden County communities by drawing from personal experience and Recovery Coach training.
    • Empowering peers to take control of their lives and well-being.
    • Completing specialized training and supervision to become a certified Recovery Coach.

    About BHN's Opioid Treatment Program (OTP)

    The OTP at Behavioral Health Network is designed to help those struggling with opiate addiction to lead an opiate-free life and enhance their overall well-being. Our Holyoke OTP follows approved medication protocols overseen by the Medical Director to safely guide patients through detoxification using evidence-based practices.

    Qualifications for Recovery Coach Position

    • Bilingual in Spanish and English (strongly preferred).
    • Completion of the Recovery Coach Academy (strongly preferred).
    • Minimum of 2 years working with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders (strongly preferred).
    • Understanding of substance use recovery support services.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
    • Participation in or completion of a CADAC program (preferred).
    • Professional communication skills with individuals in recovery and team members.
    • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required).
    • Prior experience with Expecting Mothers in Recovery (required).
