    Department Overview

    The Product Specialist ("PS") Team creates, updates and disseminates information, messaging and materials for investor communications initiatives and assists Marketing in developing information, messaging and communications materials for other audiences. The Team works with Firm leadership, other Investor Partners Group ("IPG") Teams, Direct Lending and Broadly Syndicated Loans, Structured Finance, Fund Accounting and Compliance to create and disseminate information that is timely, accurate, on-brand and on-message. In addition, the Team assists Business Development in technical discussions with potential and current investors. The Team also frequently develops and / or presents content for investor-oriented presentations, panels and speaking opportunities.

    Position Responsibilities

    The Vice President will serve as a point of contact for separately managed account clients and as a subject matter expert for the separately managed account program.

    Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Becoming an expert in each client's investment guidelines and regularly reviewing deal and portfolio-level data to ensure the Firm is complying with the client's investment management agreement
    • Assisting with onboarding new accounts and coordinating with IPG and internal partners to identify and document account-specific requirements
    • Developing a process to identify event triggers that may impact the separately managed account portfolios and proactively communicating any impacts to clients
    • Participating in monthly and quarterly calls with investors by providing market updates and relevant portfolio performance updates
    • Ensuring compliance with investment guidelines and client service expectations
    Candidate Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree required, CFA is a plus
    • 8+ years of experience within investment management, private credit experience strongly preferred
    • Previous credit investment or leveraged finance experience is ideal, coupled with strong understanding of portfolio and deal-level data
    • Detailed understanding of fund terms and structures
    • Experience maintaining relationships with separately managed account clients
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and adapt to changing priorities
    • Client-centric approach, dedicated to delivering outstanding client experiences and solutions
    • Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

    Compensation and Benefits
    For New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $190,000 to $230,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
