    Position: Commercial Account Manager – Independent Insurance Industry working remotely.

    Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Account

    Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the independent insurance industry, with a particular focus on transportation and trucking sectors. This role requires expertise in managing relationships with excess in surplus carriers and delivering exceptional service to our commercial clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the transportation and trucking industry.
    • Manage accounts with a focus on retaining and growing our commercial client base.
    • Work closely with excess and surplus carriers to negotiate terms and secure competitive coverage for our clients.
    • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze client needs to recommend appropriate

    insurance solutions.

    • Provide expert advice on risk management and insurance strategies tailored to the unique needs of the transportation sector.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities within the commercial

    market.

    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all account management activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Commercial Account Manager within the independent insurance industry.
    • Strong knowledge of transportation and trucking insurance markets, including deep familiarity

    with excess and surplus lines.

    • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and carriers.
    • Adept at negotiating and influencing to achieve the best outcomes for clients and the company.
    • Solid understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and legal

    regulations.

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in using industry-related software and technology.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
    • Relevant professional certifications in insurance (e.g., CPCU, CIC) are highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial account management with a focus on

    transportation and trucking.
