    The Director, Strategy and Innovation will lead, organize, and recommend the organization's strategic and long-range goal planning function. This key role will also manage organizational strategy reviews and meetings, track and communicate results to top management, and provide an intelligence component to inform strategic decisions. There will be a specific focus on facilitating collaboration, ideation, and prioritization of competing priorities using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods. Additionally, the development and tracking of SETF's Objectives and Key Results, compatible with organizational strategic goals, will be critical to success.

    Responsibilities:
    • Drive strategic initiatives to support the development of short and long-term growth plans and profitability goals
    • Influence and engage peer-level directors and senior management in strategic thinking processes, while driving key business initiatives
    • Challenge current business assumptions and provide insight into optimization of strategic planning priorities
    • Proactively inform the organization about potential opportunities and threats
    • Develop and lead executive and director level strategy meetings, workshops, and presentations, including annual executive strategic offsite, various strategy meetings, quarterly updates and monthly industry reports
    • Drive the development of research skills, critical analysis, and various leadership skills in team members
    • Collaborate with Sr. Leaders to build data driven business cases, track KPI's and measurement of Objectives and Key Results
    • Steer strategic initiatives through collaboration with our IT Capability teams
    • Effectively cultivate innovation through SETF's Test Track program or other means
    • Coordinate activity and forward movement of the transformation initiatives while working closely with project sponsors and leads
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree with concentration in business-related discipline. MBA a plus
    • Minimum 8-10 years business experience
    • 3+ years of leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or Financial Planning and Analysis a plus
    • Intermediate knowledge of auto industry preferred
    • Ability to provide insights, analyze data, and communicate effectively through presentations
    • Significant experience presenting strategy and strategic concepts to senior-level executive management
    • Motivated, self-starter with creative ability and leading-edge thinking ideal.
    • Team player capable of collaborating with senior executives and influencing without authority.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
