    AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a Full-time Maintenance Technician (Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm).

    Job Summary:

    Under general supervision, performs overall interior and exterior building maintenance and ground maintenance. Providing preventive and repair functions of the AuthoraCare Collective campuses. Knowledge of basic tools utilized in building maintenance, considerable knowledge of maintenance and repair work and thorough knowledge of proper safety techniques and procedures.

    Must be skilled in operating a variety of hand tools. Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions, make routine decisions independently, sustain long periods of light to moderately heave physical activity, and work collaboratively with others.

    Requirements

    Education and Experience:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience performing building maintenance and repairs.
    • Experience in one of the following; Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC.
    • Completion of a skilled trades apprenticeship program, licensed contractor, or Journeyman level preferred.
    • Maintenance experience in a medical facility preferred.
    • Knowledge of oxygen/suctions and medical equipment maintenance preferred. Knowledge of North Carolina Department of Facilities Services regulations as related to health care preferred.
    Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
