    Job Summary:


    The purpose of this position is to establish and direct the facility's overall day-to day operation, both internal and external, and coordinate and maintain compliance in accordance with current existing federal, state and local standards to maximize high standards of care to patients.


    • Assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing, and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis.
    • The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for meeting Joint Commission, OBRA Regulations for LTC, complying with corporate policy and procedures, managing supplies and equipment, promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management.
    • Oversees all activities of a nursing home in accordance with established policies and federal and state guidelines.
    • Responsible for strategic planning and profitability and is accountable for all operations and programs.
    • Administers, directs, and coordinates the business.
    • Recommends and leads changes to improve the nursing home.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • 3+ years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator required
    • Current NM Nursing Home Administrator license.
