- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including journal entries, general ledger postings, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and account reconciliations for both entities.
- Review and verify the accuracy of invoices, bills, and expense reports, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations for both entities, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor cash balances and prepare cash flow projections as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Help maintain accurate fixed asset records and assist with depreciation calculations.
- Collaborate with team members, departments, and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve accounting-related queries.
- Provide assistance and support during internal and external financial audits.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an accounting role, preferably with exposure to dual entity accounting or multiple client support.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate in a team setting.
- Proficiency in standard workplace software and/or information management applications.
- Prior experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
- Ability to navigate computer applications.

We are recruiting a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team of health care professionals. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily accounting functions of two separate entities. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Job type: This is a full-time position for applications that reside in Oregon/SW Washington area. This position will be 90% remote.
Salary Range: $66,000 - $82,500 annually, depending on experience
